Clinical Leadership
BabySteps Pune is led by Dr. Nikita Deshpande, PT, Founder and Pediatric Physiotherapist with training in neurodevelopmental and sensory integration approaches. She has experience evaluating and supporting children’s motor, balance, posture, coordination, and sensory development.
Dr. Nikita oversees developmental assessments, therapy planning, and interdisciplinary coordination at the centre.Her clinical direction ensures each child is understood holistically rather than through isolated symptoms, and care plans are grounded in structured clinical reasoning.
BabySteps was established to provide families in Pune with a clear and reliable starting point for understanding their child’s development, rooted in evidence and thoughtful assessment.
