FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

1. How do I know if my child needs therapy?
If your child is experiencing delays in motor skills, speech, behavior, or sensory processing, an assessment can help determine if therapy is needed. Early intervention leads to better outcomes.

2. What age groups do you work with?
We provide therapy for children from infancy to adolescence (0-18 years), tailoring our approach based on their developmental stage and needs.

3. How long does therapy take to show results?
Progress depends on the child’s condition, consistency, and home follow-up. Some children show improvements within weeks, while others may require long-term support.

4. Can parents be involved in the therapy process?
Yes! We encourage parent involvement, provide home exercises, and guide families on supporting their child’s development outside of sessions.

5. Do you offer assessments before starting therapy?
Yes, we conduct detailed assessments to understand your child’s strengths and challenges before designing a personalized therapy plan.

6. My child is developing typically. Can they still benefit from therapy?
Absolutely! Even children without developmental delays can benefit from therapy to improve coordination, posture, handwriting, speech clarity, social-emotional skills, and overall confidence. We also offer school readiness programs and support for enhancing everyday skills.

MYTHS VS. FACTS

❌ Myth: Physiotherapy is only for kids with major physical disabilities.
✅ Fact: It also helps children with posture issues, poor balance, coordination difficulties, and motor delays.

❌ Myth: Speech therapy is only needed if my child isn’t talking at all.
✅ Fact: It also helps with unclear speech, difficulty forming sentences, stuttering, and social communication skills.

❌ Myth: If my child needs counselling, it means something is wrong with them.
✅ Fact: Counselling is not just for children with major issues, it helps kids navigate everyday challenges like anxiety, emotional regulation, social difficulties, and behavioural struggles. Just like we support physical growth, emotional well-being also needs guidance to help children thrive.
